Department of Theatre
The Department of Theatre Arts at Virginia Tech is a highly successful and innovative theatre program rooted in the liberal arts tradition with a mission to educate and train students in and about theatre.
A Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree are offered. In both programs, students have the benefits of a small, close-knit department within the environment of a comprehensive university. A full schedule of stage productions is integral to the work of the department and provides cultural opportunities for the entire community.
